A leading european contractor are seeking a Project Lead for a large scale Data Centre project in Finland. A great opportunity to deliver a flagship project for one of the worlds largest clients, this will give the right individual an opportunity to add a fantastic project to the CV.

Duties

• Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets.
• Manage Sub Contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
• Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Review construction proposals and related pricing & scopes
• Run and lead client & other required meetings.
• Monitor & identify factors that influence construction costs to create report on this data.
• Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment.
• Review, validate and audit cost estimates prepared by sub-contractors and others within a client’s organization.
• Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
• Track and ensure equipment is available as per the project schedule.
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.
• Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments.
• Oversee and manage the transfer of the construction to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential.
• Proven Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
