Software Engineer

We are working with an ambitious AI start-up based in Leuven, driven by a passion for developing cutting-edge AI solutions that transform a range of booming industries. Their team is focused on building AI-powered products that solve real-world challenges. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join and drive their projects forward.

They're seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong proficiency in Python to help build, optimize, and scale AI products. While the core focus will be on Python development, competence in React and experience with Google Cloud would be a valuable asset. You'll work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and the product team to ensure top tier project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Python, with a focus on building AI-powered solutions
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate Machine Learning models into production systems
• Work on front-end development using React (if applicable), helping to create intuitive user interfaces for AI applications
• Optimize code for scalability, performance, and efficiency, ensuring robust system architecture
• Leverage Google Cloud services to deploy, monitor, and scale applications (experience in this is a plus)
• Ensure smooth integration of back-end and front-end components
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python with 3+ years of experience in software development
• Experience working with React is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud, is a significant advantage
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end/back-end integration
• A keen interest in AI technologies and a willingness to collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related is preferred
