Junior AI Solutions Specialist

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior AI Solutions Specialist to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Strategic Initiatives Division.

Mission

You will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions aimed at improving internal business processes and enhancing customer services. Working within a dynamic and innovative team, yow will be involved in research and Proof of Concept (PoC) projects to explore new AI applications. This role requires your technical expertise, curiosity, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.

Key Accountabilities

AI Solution Development & Implementation:

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and models to optimize business workflows and decision-making processes.
• Assist in implementing machine learning models and automation tools to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and applications.
  
  

Research & Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
• Conduct research and feasibility studies on emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to business needs.
• Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) projects to test and validate innovative AI applications before full-scale deployment.
  
  

Data Processing & Model Training:

• Assist in collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing data for training AI models.
• Work with structured and unstructured data sources to enhance machine learning model performance.
• Optimize and fine-tune models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  
  

Cloud & Infrastructure Support:

• Support the deployment and scaling of AI models using cloud-based services.
• Learn and apply best practices for cloud computing, leveraging platforms like Microsoft Azure for AI applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions in cloud environments.
  
  

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
• Communicate findings, methodologies, and project results to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Provide technical support and documentation for AI-related projects to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability.
  
  

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a related field, with skills developed through job-related training and hands-on experience within a specific job discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in backend development.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
• Passion for AI and machine learning, with a willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies and concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud services and their applications.
