As a Product Manager in Strategic Performance Insights, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing Amazon's vast transportation network, focusing on delighting customers. Key job responsibilities

  • Define and develop product features that enhance planning validation tools and processes
  • Create detailed feature requirements based on user needs and stakeholder input
  • Partner with development teams to implement and improve validation tools and features
  • Monitor and analyze feature usage metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements
  • Present regular updates on feature development and performance to management
  • Guide planning teams on effective tool usage and gather user feedback for improvements
  • Document feature changes and create user guidance materials
  • Collaborate across Network Operations teams to align product development with business needs
  • Maintain product quality standards while delivering consistent feature improvements
  • Track and report KPIs including feature adoption rates and user satisfaction scores
  • Translate complex planning validation requirements into clear, implementable features
  • Balance competing stakeholder needs while maintaining focus on user experience
  • Build strong partnerships with technical teams and maintain clear user communication
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancement within established strategic direction
  • Improve planning team efficiency through tool optimization and enhancement

A day in the life

  • Lead product strategy sessions with development teams and stakeholders to align on feature priorities and implementation approaches
  • Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for validation tool improvements
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings with planning teams and Network Operations stakeholders to gather requirements and validate product direction
  • Drive technical collaboration sessions with development teams on feature enhancements and issue resolution
  • Present performance updates and insights to senior leadership, demonstrating impact on planning team efficiency
  • Coordinate with UX and support teams to ensure strong user adoption and effective feature implementation

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Experience in product management, with demonstrated track record of delivering successful technical products
  • Experience working with complex data systems and analytics tools
  • Strong technical background with ability to effectively collaborate with development teams
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL to be able to create prototypes of products in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with customer/user research and analytics
  • Ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Track record of delivering measurable results
  • Strong documentation skills (PRFAQs, functional specs, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of product development processes and methodologies
  • Programming proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools
  • Background in supply chain analytics, network optimization, or transportation planning
  • Proficiency in an additional European Language, in addition to English (French, German, Italian, Spanish etc. )
