🔎 What are we looking for?

📄 We are looking for Senior Java Engineer who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, that is a global leader in banking sector.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

📋 What do we expect from you?

• A Software Engineering background with strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher), with a solid understanding of its ecosystems.
• Familiarity with modern enterprise frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Proficient in developing microservices.
• Skilled in writing autonomous, service-oriented RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience working with Kafka, Docker & Kubernetes.
• Proven experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• English C1 /+

💡Desired Skills

• Experience working with event-driven architectures or messaging solutions
• Knowledge of core banking, such as customer and product information.

Important: The position requires working on a Spanish schedule, from 09:00 to 18:00 (CET), so you would need to adapt to this time zone. The role is 100% remote and would be a permanent contract signed with UST Portugal.

Additionally, we give priority to candidates who hold a passport from an EU country and who are willing to relocate to Spain.
