What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for a graduate with exceptional writing skills and a passion for SEO to join our growing marketing team. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone who's digitally savvy, eager to learn, and excited to grow into a strategic content and SEO specialist.

The core focus of your role will be supporting our SEO strategy: researching keywords, writing high-quality articles, monitoring performance, and helping us improve our search visibility. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and technical teams to create content that showcases our expertise, resonates with our audience, and supports growth.

You will also assist in broader digital marketing activities such as SEM, social media, LinkedIn Ads, and occasional support for sales and outreach.

• Write compelling, SEO-optimised content for our blogs, product pages, landing pages, and newsletters
• Research and track keywords, trends, competitors, and content performance using SEO tools
• Work with our Marketing Coordinator to support and evolve the SEO strategy
• Help structure and update website content to support organic growth
• Contribute to paid campaigns, including SEM and LinkedIn Ads
• Assist in managing LinkedIn and Twitter/X posts and monitoring engagement
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g. sales, outreach) on ad hoc marketing or communications support
• Learn and adapt to technical topics related to blockchain and privacy technologies—and translate complex ideas into accessible, intelligent content
  
  

As part of our dynamic team at Applied Blockchain, you will play a crucial role, reporting directly to the Marketing Coordinator. Your primary focus will be enhancing the quality of our written marketing materials, which includes thought leadership and SEO articles, social media posts, engagements across various platforms, and blogs. Your efforts will contribute to establishing Applied Blockchain as a prominent leader in the market.

• Planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, events, and activities in line with Applied Blockchain's marketing strategy, with a focus on SEO performance and measurable results
• Analysing data, reports, and marketing activities—including SEO metrics like keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rates, and backlinks—to identify new opportunities and trends across sales and marketing
• Generating high-quality, SEO-optimised written content such as blogs, landing pages, and newsletters, incorporating relevant keywords, internal links, metadata, and structured content to improve search engine rankings
• Collaborating with the People team to develop employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns, including SEO-friendly job descriptions and career page content that enhances the candidate experience
• Creating engaging multimedia content, which may include blogs, videos, podcasts, and more, while also performing SEO-focused copywriting that follows best practices in keyword usage, readability, and search intent alignment
• Assisting in the organisation and promotion of corporate and technological events throughout the year, using SEO-driven event pages and promotional content to maximise online reach and registration
  
  
  

Requirements

Must Have:

• A bachelor's degree
• Excellent written English - clear, accurate, intelligent, and engaging
• Strong interest in SEO and content marketing
• Familiarity with SEO concepts (keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, etc.)
• At least 1 year of experience working with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, website analytics, and email marketing campaigns. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Pipedrive, etc
• At least 1 year of experience with SEO
• Proven ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Willingness to get to grips with technical topics like blockchain, encryption, and decentralised apps
• Availability for full-time work, including 2-3 days/week in our London office
• Ability to work in a stressful, fast moving startup environment
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom. (British citizen, EU settled/pre-settled status, ILR)
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, or Google Search Console
• Experience using website CMS (e.g. Webflow, WordPress) and analytics tools
• Exposure to social media scheduling, CRM, or email tools (e.g. Pipedrive, Hootsuite, Intercom)
• Interest in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and blockchain/Web3 technologies
• Work experience, an internship, or university project involving digital content, marketing, or data analysis
