Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Define and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.

• Containerization:

Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift/ECS, streamlining deployment and scaling.

• CI/CD Automation:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate software releases.

• Cloud Migration:

Design and execute strategies for migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to the cloud, optimizing for performance and cost.

• Security:

Implement and maintain security protocols and standards for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance and data protection.

• Monitoring and Logging:

Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to track application performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems.

• Collaboration:

Work with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of products.

Key Skills:

• Linux System Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu), including configuration, troubleshooting, and security.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud service providers like OCi, including their services and best practices.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash, along with basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Node.js, or Python.
• DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Nagios.
• Networking: Understanding of network concepts like load balancers, firewalls, and DNS.
• Security: Awareness of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
