Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Senior Product Manager role located in Geneva. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing product development, managing the product lifecycle, conducting market research, defining product strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
Responsibilities or Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and articulate the vision for hedge fund solutions based on market needs, business objectives, and technological advancements.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Identify new opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Product Development: Lead a cross-functional team through the planning, development, and launch phases of product initiatives.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is detailed, estimated, emerging, prioritized, and well understood by the product team.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and engineers to define product requirements, prioritize features, and guide product development.
- Ensure hedge fund solutions are scalable, reliable, and effective.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the product team and business stakeholders.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, benefits, and outcomes effectively to all stakeholders.
- Gather and integrate feedback from key stakeholders and users to continuously refine product offerings.
- Market and User Research:
- Conduct user research and usability studies to gather insights into user behaviours and needs.
- Translate insights into product features and improvements that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and analytics techniques that can enhance product offerings.
Performance Metrics and ROI:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and impact.
Analyze product performance against ROI and KPIs to justify continued investment.
Make data-driven decisions to improve product features and user experience.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing processes, staying informed about market trends and technological developments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management, with at least 3 years of specific experience with Webfolio by Digital Shape Technologies.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of hedge fund activities, including investment research, due diligence, portfolio management, and risk management.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of portfolio management systems and associated technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate and influence stakeholders, with strong teamwork skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (eg, Certified Scrum Product Owner) are advantageous.
