Data Loss Prevention Senior Analyst

to join our Cyber Security Data Protection Team in our Bucharest office.

The Cyber Security Data Protection team at Ford manages multiple programs to ensure a secure digital business and prevent unauthorized data disclosure.

As Data Loss Prevention Senior Analyst, you will oversee the daily operation of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution, including monitoring alerts, managing the DLP environment, and responding to security issues. Additionally, you will work on automating and enhancing existing processes, developing new automation solutions, and leading related projects.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

• Remediate DLP alerts and escalate issues as needed, while enhancing and tuning DLP policies.
• Implement monitoring requests from stakeholders and generate automated reports to track productivity.
• Collaborate with key business customers to improve data protection processes (e.g., whitelisting, USB block).
• Maintain and optimize DLP systems and drive automation to improve team efficiency.
• Support development of security policies, reduce false positives, and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

We’re seeking someone who has:

Strong knowledge of information security and global compliance

• Experience with case management tools and alert monitoring (preferred)
• Understanding of security practices and key technology areas (e.g., OS, networks, coding)
• Interest or experience in data analysis and collaborative tools
• Familiarity with security domains (e.g., Risk Management, Asset Security)
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with multicultural teams
• Ability to define technical requirements for DLP systems
• Experience with automation tools, programming, and cloud platforms (a plus)
