Embedded Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Developer – Automotive Cyber Security

Location: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days per week onsite in Södertälje, Sweden

Assignment Overview:

Join a collaborative and dynamic team comprised of system owners, function owners, testers, and developers working within the steering domain of modern vehicles. We are seeking an experienced Embedded Developer with a strong background in automotive cyber security to contribute to the development and security of steering systems and embedded vehicle platforms. A short start-up time is ideal, so previous experience at the client’s site is highly meriting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for steering systems with a focus on cyber security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient system integration.
• Support and implement client-specific cyber security requirements.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and documentation of embedded systems.
• Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall project goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in embedded systems development, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of automotive cyber security principles.
• Ability to interpret and implement client-specific cyber security standards and requirements.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Södertälje.

Education:

• College or university degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

Language:

• Proficient in English. All team communication and documentation are conducted in English.

Meriting (Preferred Qualifications):

• Prior experience with the client’s electrical system and/or embedded vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with steering systems and control functions.
• Previous assignments or work experience with the client.
• Possession of a C or CE driver’s license.
