About the Opportunity

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking accomplished data leaders and specialists to support our journey toward becoming a data-driven government entity. These roles are integral to shaping RTA’s digital and data governance strategies, enabling evidence-based decision-making, and contributing to national transformation programs in alignment with Dubai’s digital future.

Key Responsibilities (varying by seniority level)

• Develop and lead enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices
• Define and execute data strategy and architecture aligned with organizational priorities
• Drive the implementation of data quality, metadata management, and master data programs
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data projects and digital platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sectors to enable integrated data ecosystems
• Oversee the adoption of AI/ML technologies and advanced analytics models in RTA operations
• Ensure compliance with national and international data standards and regulatory frameworks

Qualifications & Experience

We welcome applications across multiple seniority levels. Ideal candidates will bring:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 8 to 15+ years of relevant experience in data management, governance, or architecture
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-level data programs and cross-sector collaborations
• Experience with tools and platforms such as Hadoop, Cloudera, Python, R, SQL, Azure, TensorFlow
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, DAMA, PMP, ITIL, COBIT, or related are highly preferred
• Strong capabilities in data governance, strategy execution, stakeholder engagement, and innovation
