Our Platform
"kitchenpilot" is a B2B management web tool designed specifically for large-scale kitchens, offering a one-stop solution to manage products, finances, and data efficiently. Our platform, built on Next.js and Spring Boot, integrates with tools like Firestore, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud to provide seamless management for high-volume kitchen operations. We are a fast-moving startup aiming to launch the software on the SaaS market once our partner company switched to our software successfully.

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer who thrives in a startup environment, loves tackling complex problems, and is eager to play a key role in our product development. As a language-agnostic engineer, you will have the chance to work on all parts of the stack, from frontend to backend, with opportunities for growth into architecture or senior/staff-level positions as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate with external stakeholders and develop & maintain the kitchenpilot platform.
- Architect, develop, and deploy features using technologies like Next.js, Firestore, PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.
- Ensure clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
- Identify opportunities to improve architecture and performance as the product grows.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (Next.js), Java (Spring Boot), and familiarity with Firestore, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including deployment and management.
- Language agnostic mindset with a willingness to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with modern cloud architecture best practices.
- Previous experience in a startup or high-growth company.
What We Offer
- Compensation with moderate initial salary and potential for raises over time as we scale (or not, ha!)
- Equity in the company (up to 5%) based on experience and contribution.
- Opportunity to grow into leadership, architecture, or senior/staff engineering roles as the company scales.
- Flexible, remote working environment with a team passionate about building innovative solutions.
