Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance: Maintain existing FileMaker Pro (FMP) applications to ensure smooth operation and functionality.
• Development & Integration: Develop and integrate new FMP applications tailored to the organization’s needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other FMP developers and business analysts to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Reporting: Report progress and updates to the Head of Digital Services.

Required Technical skills

• Relational Database:
• Proficient in designing and managing relational database structures, including tables, fields, and relationships.
• Scripting Expertise:
• Experience in scripting within FMP to automate processes and expand functionalities.
• Interface Design:
• Capable of designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Data Analysis:
• Ability to analyze data, create reports, and validate data quality.
• Security Implementation:
• Experienced in incorporating security measures within FMP applications.
• System Integration:
• Skilled in integrating FMP with external systems and services via APIs.
• Testing & Documentation:
• Experience in developing test scenarios and documenting solutions effectively.
• Additional Programming Skills:
• Familiarity with programming languages outside of FMP.
