Security and Network Engineer (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Your future team

As an experienced security & network engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure team and will actively contribute to the design and implementation of the future technologies with the team. Associated to a structured approach and strong communication skills, you will be responsible for the following, among others:

Your next challenge

Manage and monitor the entire security and network infrastructure: AV, Mail GTW, Firewalls, ReverseProxy, Load balancer, IPS/IDS, WAF, switches, routers...

Pro-actively ensure the proper level of security and availability of our systems.

You will oversee device installation, configuration and maintenance such as Firewalls, Proxy, SIEM, Switch DC / campus… as well as management tools.

Check the KPIs and make sure to respect the SLAs that have been defined.

Manage daily tasks and priorities (change management, incident management, troubleshooting…)

Carry out reporting, write procedures and all the documentation necessary for the proper management of the environment.

Verify compliance of the systems with the standard security policy and life cycle policy.

Monitor system/application backups and redundancy strategies.

Write and maintain scripts and device-specific commands.

In charge of the third level of support for solutions, troubleshooting of applications etc...

Be able of communicate and synthesis complex technical aspects and .

Be able to resolve conflict in the team or with others stakeholders

Your Skills

• BS/MS degree in computer science.
• Relevant work experience in a security and network administrator role ( 5 to 8 years).
• Solid experience in the administration of firewalls (PaloAlto, CheckPoint, Fortinet...) and network equipment (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI).
• Good knowledge of Cisco Proxy, Cisco Mail gateway and Cisco ISE
• Very good writing skills in French and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Available and flexible to provide maintenance outside standard working hours.
• Rigorous, structured work methodology and a spirit of synthesis.
• Interest in new technologies and aware of the latest developments.
• Ability to work independently and an excellent team player.
• With an original, creative, curious and visionary mind, you know how to imagine and propose new solutions
• A management experience is a real advantage.
