- A Master’s degree or PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience applying advanced optimization techniques to real-world problems in supply chain or retail.
- Proven ability to translate complex business challenges into mathematical models, with a focus on practical, data-driven decision support.
- Deep understanding of linear programming, integer programming, and constraint satisfaction methodologies.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including hands-on experience with optimization libraries such as CPLEX, Gurobi, or OR-Tools.
- Proficient in data analysis and manipulation using SQL and Python.
- Experience in retail or supply chain operations, with insight into industry-specific optimization use cases.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, particularly where they intersect with optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in developing production-grade optimization systems, including deployment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and deployment strategies for optimization and analytics solutions.Expertise in formulating complex operational problems as mathematical models, and applying suitable optimization techniques to solve them effectively and efficiently.
- Proven ability to implement optimization algorithms in real-world production environments, delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable code that aligns with business needs.
- Deep understanding of retail and supply chain dynamics, enabling the development of optimization solutions that directly contribute to tangible business outcomes.
