Business Analyst - Banking Risk, Python, Automation - this is a long-term contract opportunity for an experienced BA to join our Basel based client within the Financial Services sector .

Your tasks:

• Operational transformation: Contribute to the transformation of the team's operations by leveraging new technologies to reduce low added value tasks and further improve efficiencies, in reporting, controls and analysis.
• Measuring and monitoring financial risks and financial leverage: Contribute to the development of infrastructure and business processes to effectively and efficiently measure and monitor market risks, liquidity risks and financial leverage.
• Pricing and valuation: Contribute to the design and implementation of pricing and valuation controls processes.
• Risk reporting: Contribute to the development of reports and dashboards on market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk and financial leverage as well as on valuation and performance across all levels (from Dealers to Management).
  
  
  

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive Business Analysis experience within Risk Management
• Experience with Python, ideally with hands-on experience automation projects to increase efficiencies
• Business knowledge of financial markets, products and their representation across risk types
• SQL technical skills
