DevOps Engineer with GCP

Responsibilities

- Build and deploy activities on non-production/production environments using

GitHub Actions, Java/Spring Boot (Maven), and Node.js/React (NPM)

- Configure and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments

- Understand the SDLC process and controls (policies)

- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to satisfy and close the SDLC

controls

- Support teams in onboarding and migrating to Google Cloud and GitHub

- Contribute to troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution

- Continuously improve build, deployment, and release processes

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Fluency in English;
• Proficiency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python,
• Shell scripting)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines – preferably GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with other automation and CI/CD tools (Git, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle)
• Good understanding of Linux, including shell scripting
• Experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker,
• Helm)
• Experience in any cloud provider (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure) with good understanding of
• cloud infrastructure
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills at both application and infrastructure
• Levels

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Service Meshes (e.g. Istio)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Understanding of application-layer protocols (TLS/SSL, HTTP(S), DNS, digital
• certificates, etc)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• 2 years contract - maternity cover
• 25 holiday days per year
• Hybrid and full remote contracts will receive 150 RON/month for home gas/electricity/broadband bills

• The employees working on bank holidays will be benefitting either of a paid day off in the next 30 days + 100% of the hourly base salary for that specific day OR 200% of the hourly base salary for that specific day.
