Front Office | Commodities Trading

Geneva (or Dubai)

Our client, a leading player in the commodities trading space, is looking to bring on a Quant or Data Analyst to work directly with their traders — shaping tools, insights, and tech solutions that drive performance on the desk.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Partnering closely with traders to understand workflows and deliver effective, tech-enabled solutions
• Developing and enhancing tools using Python to support data manipulation, analysis, and decision-making
• Leading efforts in data gathering and transformation, ideally within a Triple Point environment
• Exploring opportunities to apply AI and quant methods internally (early-stage thinking)
• Supporting front-office innovation with a practical, delivery-focused mindset

What We’re Looking For:

• Industry experience in a quantitative and data or front-office IT function
• Solid understanding of commodities trading and front-office processes
• Strong Python programming skills
• Excellent communication — able to translate trader needs into actionable solutions
• Experience working on or directly with trading desks
• Familiarity with Triple Point or other ETRM systems is a plus
• Open to candidates willing to relocate to Geneva
