Chief Executive Officer (CEO - Türkiye) – Crypto Exchange / Digital Assets ($300-420k base)

**It is imperative that you are fluent in Turkish and based in Türkiye with a track record of successfully leading a Crypto / Digital Asset business**

About the Role:

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be the driving force behind the company's vision, strategy, and overall success. Leading one of the most innovative and dynamic cryptocurrency exchanges, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the growth and profitability of the business. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the crypto landscape, who can navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry while being the spearhead of innovation and integrity.

This exchange has had its initial application accepted and is now entering the registration process so it is imperative that you are experienced enough with regulatory requirements in the Crypto space to complete the application process alongside the existing Head of Compliance and MLRO.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the board of directors and key stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies to drive growth and increase market share.
• Lead the company’s efforts in product innovation, ensuring the platform remains at the cutting edge of technology and user experience.

Operational Management:

• Oversee all operational aspects of the exchange, including trading, technology, customer service, and compliance.
• Establish and maintain high operational standards, ensuring the platform is secure, efficient, and scalable.
• Implement effective risk management practices to safeguard the exchange from financial, operational, and reputational risks.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure the exchange complies with all relevant regulations and legal requirements, including AML/KYC, data protection, and financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring open communication and proactive engagement on compliance matters.
• Lead the company’s efforts to anticipate and adapt to regulatory changes in the global cryptocurrency landscape.

Financial Stewardship:

• Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to the board of directors.
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining a strong focus on cost efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee fundraising efforts and investor relations, ensuring the company has the capital and resources needed to achieve its strategic objectives.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Build and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and professional development within the organization.
• Act as a mentor and coach to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and values.

Customer & Market Focus:

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven track record of scaling a technology-driven business, within the crypto or blockchain sector in a senior leadership role
