Front End Engineer (UI/3D)

We’re looking for a Front End Engineer to help build an interactive, web-based 3D interface for an innovative BIM compliance checking tool. You’ll implement a 3D viewer and UI components that allow users to navigate digital building models and understand regulatory compliance results at a glance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a responsive 3D model viewer using WebGL libraries (e.g., Three.js, IFC.js, Xeokit).
• Implement UI elements to visualize rule check results and highlight compliant/non-compliant elements.
• Enable intuitive navigation and interaction within the BIM model (selection, info panels, search).
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into clean, accessible, and performant front-end components.
• Optimize rendering and data flow to support moderately complex BIM models.
• Integrate with backend APIs and manage application state to ensure real-time accuracy.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Experience with WebGL or 3D rendering libraries like Three.js or Babylon.js.
• Strong UI/UX implementation skills with attention to usability and responsive design.
• Familiarity with handling large datasets or dynamic visualizations in-browser.

Solid debugging and performance profiling experience.

This is a remote contract for 3 months with potential for extension
