We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist!


You will be joining a company which began as a research project almost 20 years ago, and is now an established enterprise head-quarted in Trondheim


Working across industries including construction and aquaculture, you will be dealing with sensor data from a range of sources, and developing ML methods and AI tools to ultimately make the industries more efficient


You will join a dedicated data science team with access to the latest tools & technology, you are encouraged to experiment and explore work outside of your role - a positive attitude towards learning is key!


Some example responsibilities include:


  • Leading an internal team of data scientists, taking responsibility for the overall environment and their learning & development
  • Bridge the gap between research and production
  • Design and implement machine learning pipelines
  • Collaborate with backend teams to integrate data science solutions into our cloud infrastructure
  • Establish best practices within the team


We are looking for you to bring:


  • At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g. Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer with data/ML/AI experience)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and deplying ML models to production environments
  • Previous experience in a leading position, or taking ownership of data science projects
  • Experience/understanding of time series data is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
  • It is beneficial if you are familiar with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes, as well as MLOps practices and tools
