Collaborating closely with a high-performing engineering team in New York, you will support the technical vision and execution of the company by developing innovative and reliable technology solutions. Your expertise will be essential in building and scaling a secure, high-performing tech infrastructure that supports our business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience, startup experience preferred
- Strong coding skills in core backend technologies (e.g., Typescript, Go)
- Hands-on experience with database technologies (e.g., Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Proven experience building critical compliance tools in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the blockchain or fintech industry
- Customer-focused approach, with a demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into elegant, scalable, and robust technical solutions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, legal, risk, operations) to implement compliance initiatives
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR) and their impact on product development and operations
- Track record of delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic, fast-growing startup environment
- At least Upper-Intermediate English level
- Be able to overlap with US Eastern Time (EST)
- Familiarity with Temporal and gRPC
- Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our technology roadmap, ensuring the seamless transition of early-stage prototypes into scalable and robust production-ready backend services
- Collaborate across teams to define and deliver groundbreaking solutions in alignment with industry best practices and company objectives
- Integrate web3 technologies and protocols, with an unwavering focus on security, data flow, and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs and market trends
- Continuously deliver technology solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations, thereby driving company growth and success
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of emerging trends in backend and web3 development to maintain our company's position at the vanguard of technological advancement
- Establish a scalable and future-proof tech architecture that supports both current and future business needs while anticipating shifts in market dynamics and customer demands
