Application Support Devops Engineer :-

Location : Sydney or Brisbane

Role Purpose : The DevOps Engineering is responsible for maintain and suggest CI/CD best practices, Development & support for core applications at L2 level.

Skills:

• Overall 10+ years of experience
• Minimum 6+ years of experience into Development and Production support.
• Graduation with relevant experience.
• You’ll be bridging the gap between Development and Operations
• Must have good experience over .net, SQL, MVC, API, WCF, network fundamentals etc.
• Good understanding on MuleSoft API library
• Understanding of New Relic or similar logging/monitoring tool
• You’ll maintain and suggest CI/CD best practices and automating security testing at the speed of DevOps
• You’ll maintain all central Dev-related systems for source control, CI, Service Discovery, and more.
• You’ll use a continuous delivery mind set to ensure a frictionless path to production.
• Proficiency and experience in Octopus, TeamCity, Serverless framework, Terraform, AWS, Windows, Linux, Containerization
• Knowledge and practical experience in build/deploy automation, scripting, code repo, containers
• Extensive knowledge on managing issues reported by business, RCA, proposing/doing fixes, working on SQL scripts; documentation, ad-hoc reporting etc.

Function Specific Responsibilities :

• Use a continuous delivery mind set to ensure a frictionless path to production
• Providing feedback about potential issues and risks
• Working with the release team to ensure smooth releases
• Knowledge of Development ecosystem tooling: Git/CI/Docker/Kubernetes
• Software architecture design skills for maintaining High Availability and Fault Tolerance
• Experience within the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of systems architecture within high availability environments
• Knowledge of networking and information security practices
• Knowledge and practical experience in build/deploy automation, scripting, code repo, containers
• Proficiency in Octopus, TeamCity, Serverless framework, Terraform, AWS, Windows, Linux, Containerization
• Great communication skills leading to a strong rapport with all internal stakeholders
• Agile product development practices.
• Working with business and product owners on continuous improvements
• Dev-Ops deployment automation design with GitHub Actions
• Assessing and advising on serverless development frameworks
• Passion for independent self-learning and can-do attitude
• Mentor and coach team members on DevOps tools and practices
• Managing, analysing, troubleshooting, and resolving Incidents for core application and adhering to the SLAs
• Working with Critical incident team to do the root cause analysis and help preparing the preventive actions.
• Understanding on Change & Problem Management process
• Preparing and documenting reports and run books to enhance the Knowledge base within available tools.
• Monitoring applications and infrastructure alerts, and reacting quickly
• Understanding the requirement of alerts and configuring the same into New Relic tools.
• Contributing to product development
