Mission Overview:

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our consultancy team at Keystone Solutions. This position involves working directly at our client's site, the Vlaamse Sociale Bescherming (VSB), and offers a unique opportunity to engage in impactful consultancy work. As a consultant, you will be part of a dynamic environment where you will develop and maintain applications, ensuring effective communication between various systems and supporting critical services for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications for the Vlaamse Sociale Bescherming (VSB) using Java and Java EE technologies.
Ensure seamless communication between external ZK applications and VSB applications via web services on the Digital Platform.
Manage member information, including registrations, contributions, and exemptions within the Ledenbeheer system.
Store and distribute evaluation attestations for VSB rights through the AVR system.
Automatically allocate support budgets for individuals with disabilities using the eBOB system.

Skills/Profile:

At least 5 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
Proficient in Java EE/Jakarta EE and/or Spring Boot, with experience in relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with deployment platforms based on Kubernetes, preferably OpenShift.
Competent in using GIT Version Management and working within Agile, Scrum methodologies.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with colleagues and project management.
Proficiency in Dutch (NL) is absolutely mandatory.
