We are looking for a (Senior) Kafka Consultant to join our team and take a key role in designing and developing state-of-the-art streaming solutions and real-time data products. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid background in software development, systems integration, and a deep understanding of the Apache Kafka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing streaming solutions and real-time data products
- Work with Confluent Cloud to ensure scalable and efficient data streaming with high volume
- Develop and enhance data products and async APIs ecosystem
- Provide technical assistance and collaborate with other teams which use real-time data products and async APIs.
- Proven experience with Apache Kafka
- Hands-on experience with stream processing tools (Flink, KSQL, or Kafka Streams)
- Experience with Kafka source and sink Connectors
- Experience with Kafka Schema Registry and JSON schemas
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with Confluent Cloud
- Experience with REST and async APIs usage and best practices
- Proficiency in Java, Scala or Python
- Familiarity with databases and CDC
- Familiarity with logging & monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk)
- Familiarity with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, GitHub and Jenkins
- Strong teamwork and customer-facing skills.
