Position Title: Experienced UI/UX Developer - remote   

Contract: Full-time, Independent Contractor    

Location:  100% remote working

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless experience across various devices and screen sizes.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Mentor junior designers and developers, providing guidance and support.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and development.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
Appreciable knowledge of scripting languages, and an understanding of back-end workflow programming is an advantage
Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design and development work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
