R&D Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a R&D Manager to lead our research and development team in building cutting-edge AI solutions for the Fintech sector. The R&D Manager will drive innovation, oversee the development of new technologies, and ensure that our solutions align with business objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the R&D team of 15 developers, foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

· Develop and execute research strategies for AI-driven payment solutions, improving efficiency, security, and user experience.

· Identify emerging technologies and trends in AI and Fintech to drive continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business teams to align research goals with company objectives.

· Oversee the design, prototyping, and testing of AI models and algorithms to enhance online payment processes.

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards in AI model development.

· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery of innovative solutions.

· Report on research progress, key findings, and technological advancements to stakeholders and executive leadership.

· Perform a code review according to the established standards.

· Experience: At least 5 years of managing development teams (teams of 5 or more).

· Technical Expertise:

o Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data science techniques.

o Experience with AI-driven financial technologies, payment systems, or fraud detection.

o Proficiency in any of AI frameworks.

o Familiarity with one of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

o Strong knowledge of development tools such as Node.js and related frameworks, .NET, C#, React, and various DevOps tools.

· Leadership & Strategy:

o Experience in managing R&D teams and delivering AI-driven solutions.

o Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

· Collaboration & Communication:

o Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

o Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams.

o Project management skills and experience working in an agile environment.
