Lead Fullstack Developer

About the role

Multisynaptech is looking for a Lead Fullstack Developer to take the reins in building an entirely new, web-based platform. You will be responsible for both the technical development and the leadership of a small team of developers, taking extended technical responsibility of the project from its inception.

This is a unique opportunity to build a product from the ground up, make critical architectural decisions, and work hands-on with both the frontend and backend technologies. What you’ll do

• Design and develop a modern, scalable application from scratch.
• Choose together with the cloud architect the appropriate tech stack and structure the application for long-term success.
• Work with frontend (React/Vue) and backend (Node.js, Python, or similar) technologies.
• Develop secure APIs, integrate databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Lead and mentor a small team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and efficient collaboration.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine user experience and features.
• Ensure the application is secure, high-performing and scalable.

Who you are

• 5+ years of professional experience as a senior fullstack developer.
• Proven experience building software products and taking technical ownership of architecture and execution from the ground up.
• Comfortable with both frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong knowledge of modern development frameworks (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
• Able to lead, mentor, and make technical decisions for the team.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.

• Experience with SaaS platforms or multi-tenant systems.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization.
• Previous experience in agile or startup environments.
