Optomi, in partnership with a leading client in the commercial building and home improvement industry, is seeking a hands-on Network Administrator for an on-site role based in Johns Creek, GA. This position focuses on network administration, Tier 2–3 escalation support, and hardware deployment across both legacy and newly integrated operations.

W2 only - no C2C/sponsorship available.

Experience of the right candidate:

• 2–3 years of experience in a NOC or networking support role.
• Active CCNA certification preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, particularly VeloCloud.
• Comfortable with VLAN configuration, switch deployments, and basic WiFi setup.
• Experience supporting Tier 2–3 escalations.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and excellent customer communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to established processes.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Johns Creek, GA (M–F, 8–5) with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Provide on-site network administration and support for escalation issues.
• Stage and ship pre-configured hardware and assist remote teams with installations.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide clear guidance to non-technical users.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and support teams for deployments.
• Manage and support Cisco switches, VLAN configurations, and WiFi environments.
• Collaborate with teams across both legacy and newly integrated operations.
