Job Title: Junior Network Engineer

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Contract (1 year + 1 year extension)

About the Role

We’re partnering with a global leader in networking solutions to find a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer. This role focuses on hands-on implementation, deployment, and support of enterprise networks. You’ll need strong experience with routing, switching, and Linux system administration, and be comfortable in fast-paced, project-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Maintain and upgrade LAN/WAN systems per project needs
• Support network changes, migrations, and expansions
• Provide operational support for Linux servers
• Troubleshoot network and Linux-related issues
• Monitor network performance and ensure proactive maintenance
• Document configurations and deployment processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth delivery

Key Skills & Experience

• Hands-on expertise with routing and switching (Cisco preferred)
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VPNs
• Solid Linux administration skills (Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS)
• Experience in enterprise network deployments and support
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
• Linux certifications (RHCSA, LFCS)
• Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python)
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
