Frontend Engineer — Core Product (React/JavaScript)

NYC | 4 Days/Week In-Office (Midtown) | FinTech | Greenfield Build

A fast-growing FinTech based in Midtown Manhattan, and they're building a next-generation core platform from the ground up. Looking for a Frontend Engineer who’s excited about React, JavaScript, and creating clean, intuitive interfaces — in a true greenfield environment.

You'll be joining early, helping define how the product looks and feels for years to come. If you want to work closely with product, design, and engineering leadership and have a real voice in technical decisions, this is your shot.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building brand-new, user-facing features in React/JavaScript
• Designing highly usable dashboards, workflows, and internal systems for teams across the company
• Working in a greenfield codebase — clean architecture, scalable components, no legacy mess
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers
• Working onsite 4 days/week with a sharp, driven team in Midtown

What We’re Looking For

• Strong JavaScript skills — modern React (hooks, context, component design) is a must
• Experience building polished frontend applications from scratch
• A product-first mindset — you care about UX, performance, and maintainability
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
• Bonus: experience with component libraries, frontend testing, or data-heavy UI
