Game Development Intern (Unity / Blender / Animation)

About DeepSim:

DeepSim is an independent game studio crafting original, fantasy-inspired simulation worlds.

We're at the beginning of an incredible journey, and we're looking for passionate creators to join us in building our first multiplayer sim experience set in space and beyond.


Role Overview:

We are looking for passionate and creative interns who want to work on Unity development, 3D asset creation, world design, and animations.


Type & Opportunity:

  • Internship Duration: 5–6 months
  • Initially unpaid — based on performance, a stipend between ₹5,000–₹10,000/month may be offered.
  • PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) opportunity at the end of internship.
  • Outstanding performers may also be offered full-time roles with equity options.


Responsibilities:

  • Build interactive environments and mechanics using Unity Engine.
  • Model and design 3D assets, props, and characters in Blender.
  • Create animations for objects and characters.
  • Collaborate with the team on game design ideas and world-building.


Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Unity OR a strong interest in learning.
  • Experience in creating 3D models, animations, or small games (personal projects are welcome).
  • Skills in Blender and Unity (preferred).
  • A true fan of simulation games!
  • Students pursuing degrees in Design, Animation, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Self-taught creators are equally welcome!
  • Eagerness to learn, experiment, and collaborate.


Bonus Skills (Good to Have):

  • Knowledge of C# scripting for Unity.
  • Familiarity with multiplayer/networking frameworks (like Mirror or Photon).
  • Experience with low-poly or mid-poly 3D asset creation.
