We are looking for an R&D Engineer, Data Science Intern to join our Chemtech, Technology and Innovation, team in Oberwinterthur.
Join our R&D team for six months and develop innovative solutions for the chemical industry and sustainable technologies, including carbon capture and emission control. Focused on digitalization, you will help drive data-driven product development from ideation to market-ready solutions within our Separation Technology business unit.

We are looking for an R&D Engineer, Data Science Intern to join our Chemtech, Technology and Innovation, team in Oberwinterthur.
Join our R&D team for six months and develop innovative solutions for the chemical industry and sustainable technologies, including carbon capture and emission control. Focused on digitalization, you will help drive data-driven product development from ideation to market-ready solutions within our Separation Technology business unit.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Collaborate in Contribute to data-driven product development within the Separation Technology business unit.
- Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data from our pilot plants and production facilities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance our experimental design and critical parameters for product optimization.
- Play an active role in implementing new analytical technologies to support digital transformation.
- Student or recent graduate in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (related disciplines welcome).
- Experience in data evaluation, modeling, visualization, and data-driven analysis.
- Previous experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
- Curious, motivated team player with a knack for problem-solving and a desire to advance your career in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment.
- Fluency in English.
