As a Staff Engineer, you will play a critical leadership role in scaling their core platform – driving strategy, shaping the tech stack, and leading a high-performing engineering team.

You’ll work hands-on, building with Rust and Golang, and set the standard for technical excellence across the team. This is a leadership role for someone who leads by example — coding, mentoring, and driving architecture decisions in a fast-moving, high-trust environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the Core Platform strategy while co-leading the broader engineering function.
• Actively contribute to backend development, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
• Build, grow, and mentor an engineering team both onshore and offshore.
• Partner with Product, Design, Super, and Operations teams to align technology with business objectives.
• Evaluate new technologies, manage budgets, and ensure rapid, secure product delivery.
• Drive the integration of the platform with future products, including a retirement-focused offering.
