About the Role

As a mid-level iOS Developer at Bilue, you’ll play a central role in creating mobile experiences that are robust, efficient, and delightful for users. You'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and other software engineers to build native iOS applications that push the boundaries of mobile innovation. Your main focus will be to design, develop, and optimise apps with a keen eye for UX and performance, utilising the latest in iOS development tools and frameworks.

This role offers a blend of hands-on development and opportunities to contribute to a high-quality codebase, ensuring our apps not only meet user needs but also adhere to the highest standards of quality and security.

About You

You’re an experienced iOS Developer with 3+ years of commercial experience under your belt, skilled at creating high-quality, user-focused mobile applications. Passionate about all things iOS, you bring a solid understanding of mobile application architecture, responsive design, and development best practices. You thrive in a collaborative, consulting environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a knack for writing clean, maintainable code.

• Well-versed in UIKit, Swift, and Objective-C, and passionate about the latest Apple trends and tools.
• Great capability of developing universal apps for multiple devices and form-factors.
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns, such as MVC and MVVM.
• 2+ years of SwiftUI experience is ideal.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and continuous integration. Familiarity with server-driven UI is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Apple’s iOS Human Interface Guidelines, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks (XCTest, Snapshot testing) and a focus on quality assurance.
• Skilled in performance optimisation, including energy and memory management and app load-time improvements.
• Familiar with version control systems (Git), Jenkins CI/CD system, and collaboration tools like Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence.
• Familiar with Enterprise app deployment and monitoring using Dynatrace.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
