Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Access Point Renewal:
• Plan and execute the replacement of legacy Access Points.
• Wireless Network Migration:
• Design and implement migration to new Wireless Controllers.
• Configuration & Troubleshooting:
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco wireless networking equipment, including Access Points and Controllers.

Team Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and disruptions during migrations.
• Key Skills and Competencies:

Hands-On Expertise:

• Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN technologies (Access Points and Wireless Controllers).
• Ability to configure devices and coordinate the physical replacement of Access Points.
• Wireless Network Proficiency:
• Skilled in network design, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of network protocols, VLANs, and security configurations.
• Problem Solving & Teamwork:
• Effective under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent teamwork/communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco Certifications:
• CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, or CCIE Wireless.
• Migration Expertise:
• Experience in large-scale wireless network migration projects.
• Knowledge of Wireless Standards:
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi 6 and emerging wireless standards.
