IBM CIC Baltic is a Client Innovation Center located in Vilnius with 300+ professionals working on client-facing or internal projects to deliver state-of-the-art software which solves all kinds of business problems in various industries. You will be contributing to the Client Transformation department, a team dedicated to guiding, constructing, and enhancing user-facing digital solutions.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Development. You will work on developing, implementing, and testing software solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. This includes writing code, debugging, and resolving software defects.
- Collaboration. You will collaborate with other team members, including software engineers, project managers, and quality assurance (QA) professionals. This may involve participating in meetings, providing updates on your progress, and working together to solve problems.
- Continuous learning. As an intern, you are expected to be open to learning new concepts, techniques, and best practices in software engineering. This includes staying up to date with industry trends and participating in training programs or workshops.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Web development experience with front-end technologies, such as React.js or Angular.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools, such as Git.
- Theoretical knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Fluent in English.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript back-end frameworks, such as Node.js or NestJS.
- Familiar with Cloud technologies and Cloud-Native application development.
- Work experience in IT area is a big plus.
