Now we are looking for a skilled and motivated Reference Data Specialist to maintain the accuracy and completeness of OAG databases, including NTP/Reference, Metis, and FVS. Ensure consistency and cohesion across these platforms, while collaborating with internal teams to establish a unified data source.

Team Mission

Be the trusted data platform partner of airlines with high-quality, essential status data.

Maintain and improve OAG’s Flight Status data coverage and quality, enabling clients to access accurate and valuable data effortlessly.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Managing daily checks and the shared inbox with minimal support and react to alerts on timely manner.
• Displaying knowledge in the relevant industry/domain, applying knowledge to support suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to validate data, align with standards, and resolve issues.
• Communicating independently with internal stakeholders to report issues and provide updates.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to onboard new data elements with support.
• Share in covering MCTs when required.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to onboard new data content with minimal support.
• Shadowing the Team Lead during Industry Working Group meetings.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive and complete documentation independently.
• Creating and maintaining a uniform set of data in accordance with system and industry requirements, ensuring consistency across all platforms with minimal support.

IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of basic SQL: to adjust and run queries to interrogate Snowflake databases.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Salesforce or other tracking Tools.
• Understanding of new database tables and new products derived from those tables.
• Knowledge of Proficient Excel: able to run macros, formulas, and navigate large data tables.
