The Senior Automation Engineer will have extensive experience in Microsoft Platform technologies (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages), Microsoft SharePoint, and exposure to Microsoft Copilot and Azure Logic Apps. He/she will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for operational efficiency. The role combines technical expertise with team leadership and will lead the PowerX Automation team in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise solutions.

- Design and develop automation workflows using Microsoft Platform technologies (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages), Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Copilot and Azure Logic Apps
- Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and SDLC standards
- Integrate automation solutions with other enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation processes
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of automation solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, act like the technical authority of the team.
- Lead and manage a team of automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Manage team backlog, allocate resources and supervise roadmap, monitor team performance and provide reports to management
- Drive the strategic direction of automation initiatives within the team, with the support of Director of Emerging Technology
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial field, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform technologies and related (Microsoft 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure and Copilot)
- Understanding and exposure to full SDLC practices in agile context, including source control (git), CI/CD and devops, documentation (Confluence) and backlog management (Jira)
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and data management
- Excellent communication skills and leadership potential
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and bridging business requirements to technology constraints
- Ability to understand business needs in a financial and asset management context
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
- Team-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant experience
- Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform preferred
- Experience in Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure services and Microsoft Copilot, Git source control, CI/CD and devops practices
- Fluent in English.
