About The Role

The ideal candidate is a respected leader who has built and thrived inside a high growth successful team. In this role, you will be focused on RBI developer and infrastructure initiatives, working closely with platform and RBI engineering teams to streamline development activities as well as support and enhance service operations. This role requires a combination of technical and management skills in addition to the ability to coach and mentor engineers in the team.

To be successful in this role you must possess a combination of strong technical acumen as well as have a passion for solving engineering challenges at the intersection of infrastructure and application layers. You will play a key role in understanding the requests from various engineering teams, tackling their questions and concerns, creating scalable methods and ensuring technical details are communicated effectively. Finally, it is expected that you will be able to prioritize initiatives, manage projects, and communicate clear updates to stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a cross functional development team working across the RBI development stack, with a focus on infrastructure and DevOps. Responsibility for full software development life cycles.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Build, maintain and monitor infrastructure across development, QA, and production environments. Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Develop software and systems focused on resilience, monitoring, and self healing.
• Manage high profile talents, coach, mentor and encourage growth and career progress of team members.
  
  

Qualification/Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Programming/scripting expertise in languages such as Go, C/C++, Python, etc.
• Experience in managing high profile talents across all levels.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed system issues.
