Junior Product Manager

Novus is Istanbul and Boston based, a next-generation AI startup developing hybrid and on-prem Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for industries dealing with strict data privacy and regulatory needs. We are looking for a Junior Product Manager who will work closely with our Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Tech teams to drive POC (Proof of Concept) initiatives and manage aftersales product processes. You will ensure that early client engagements are smooth, scalable, and translate into successful long-term partnerships, while also supporting product improvements based on post-sale feedback.This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a strong foundation in product management by being at the intersection of client interaction, solution shaping, and product enhancement — especially in the fast-evolving AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to design and deliver effective Proof of Concept (POC) projects.
• Manage the lifecycle of POCs: requirement gathering, planning, tracking, reporting, and handover to implementation teams.
• Act as the bridge between customer-facing teams, end-user and product development for aftersales feedback and enhancement requests.
• Identify and prioritize product improvement opportunities based on client feedback and internal insights.
• Support Aftersales Product Operations, including issue triage, product documentation updates, and feature optimization.
• Prepare simple mockups, workflows, or requirement documents for minor aftersales or POC customizations.

Core Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Max 2 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a similar technical/operational role.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with basic data interpretation skills.
• Curiosity and proactive attitude towards continuous learning.
• Passion for solving user problems and improving customer experience.
• Genuine interest in AI technologies and eagerness to work in an AI-focused environment
• Basic knowledge of Agile and product development lifecycle concepts.
• Basic technical understanding of APIs, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software.
• Ability to create clear and structured requirement documents, user stories, or flow diagrams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous internship or project experience in POC delivery, technical presales, or post-sales product operations.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts (e.g., machine learning basics, LLMs, model evaluation) is a strong plus.
