Cloud Architect

Job Description

The Lead – Azure Architecture will design and implement cloud and infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves leading large-scale Azure cloud migrations, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions on Azure and other cloud platforms.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and ensure seamless deployment of large-scale cloud projects.
• Architect technical solutions for networking, security, storage, and identity management.
• Automate infrastructure deployments using tools like Terraform and ARM templates.
• Provide leadership and guidance to implementation teams and clients through technical workshops.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve cloud architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years in IT with 10+ years in technical delivery or consulting.
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect with expertise in large-scale cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers), and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM) and cloud security best practices.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Solutions Architect.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Additional certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, or TOGAF are a plus.
