FRONT-END ENGINEER (ASP.NET CORE BLAZOR)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Front End Engineer with ASP.NET Core Blazor for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine.

Our client is a global company that provides central laboratory services and clinical trial support for biotech, pharmaceutical, and research organizations. Headquartered in Johnson City, Tennessee, they’ve supported over 1,900 clinical studies across 93 countries. Their services include custom lab kits, sample tracking, global logistics, standardized sample processing, a wide range of validated lab tests, radiopharmaceutical support, and a modern biorepository. They specialize in turning complex data from multiple sources into clear, submission-ready datasets.

We’re looking for a passionate Front-End Engineer who enjoys building clean, responsive, and elegant UIs using Blazor and ASP.NET Core.

⚠️ This is a front-end focused role — not a back-end position. You’ll work closely with designers and front-end teams to build rich user interfaces and contribute to UI/UX decisions.

The client is a fast-growing clinical trials platform from the US that supports hundreds of thousands of patients. You will join a distributed international team of professionals working in a dynamic and meaningful healthcare space.

If you’re a back-end engineer who occasionally touches the UI, this role may not be for you.

We’re specifically looking for a front-end focused developer who can bring strong UI/UX skills and Blazor expertise to the table.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in front-end web development, building and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core Blazor, developing SPAs or hybrid applications.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles (Flexbox, Grid, media queries, etc.).
• Proven experience building mobile-first front-end solutions with a strong emphasis on user experience.
• Familiarity with browser compatibility issues and debugging tools.
• Understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and routing in Blazor.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) development teams with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience using Figma or other design/prototyping tools for reviewing and translating UI/UX mockups into functional interfaces.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and integrating front-end with Azure-based APIs or services.
• Exposure to backend development using .NET Core, REST APIs, or full-stack implementation scenarios.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and front-end performance optimization techniques.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, mobile-first user interfaces using ASP.NET Core Blazor, HTML, and CSS.
• Build new front-end features from scratch, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to transform requirements and prototypes into functional web applications.
• Ensure front-end code is clean, maintainable, and performant, emphasizing usability and accessibility.
• Participate in Agile processes including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to code reviews, UI/UX discussions, and performance optimizations.
• Help identify and solve UI/UX pain points based on real-world usage and user feedback.
• Collaborate proactively in a team-oriented environment, sharing knowledge and best practices.
