Senior Network Engineer (CloudDNS / BlueCat)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer focused on CloudDNS and BlueCat.

In this role, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our network systems and infrastructure. If you possess a strong background in network administration and are eager to contribute to innovative cloud solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and oversee Cloud network infrastructure
  • Possess knowledge of BlueCat Centralized DNS and DHCP management
  • Manage DNS records across platforms like AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, Azure DNS, and integrate them with on-premises solutions such as BlueCat
  • Establish and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create network solutions tailored to business needs
  • Automate network processes with scripting and tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks
  • Stay informed about emerging industry trends and best practices in cloud networking and DNS management


Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience in a Network Engineer role or similar
  • Knowledge of Cloud networking services, including VPC, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud DNS
  • Background in Cloud/BlueCat servers and DNS management
  • Proficiency in network security principles and practices
  • Understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Capability to apply IPv4 addressing, CIDR notation, and subnetting for optimal network design and configuration
  • Skills in network automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with Jenkins Pipeline
  • Proficiency in using network monitoring tools such as ELK and SolarWinds
  • Competency in problem-solving and handling work under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work remotely and participate in on-call rotation


Nice to have


  • Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications (GCP / AWS / Azure)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
