Job Summary
The Defence College of Technical Training (DCTT) mission is to train and educate aeronautical engineering, electronic and mechanical engineering, and communications and information systems personnel and prepare them to operate in a combat environment in order to meet the Defence requirement.
The DCTT Portfolio Office (PfO) Team manages the delivery of change projects and programmes across the College. This Office will ensure the appropriate level of governance is applied to all the change projects, monitor their progress against their schedules and ensure corrective actions and mitigations are applied to bring about successful delivery on time and within budget.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job Description
This is an exciting and high-profile post providing the post holder with regular exposure to senior level of communcations, and engagement with School Commandants. There will also be the opportunity to work with stakeholders across Air Command. Specifically the post holder will focus on the following key tasks:

- The individual must be able to demonstrate a successful track record & significant experience of project scheduling at different stages of the lifecycle.
- Expert in creating and updating schedules using MS Project.
- Experience in working within a project or programme environment is essential and/or qualifications in project or programme management (opportunities for formal qualifications will be available).
- Knowledge of the military training environment.
- APMP or PRINCE 2.
- Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) or willingness to complete the training.
- Defence Systems Approach to Training Manager (DSAT(M)) course.
- Full UK driving licence.
