Java Full-Stack Developer

Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Java Full-Stack Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Development of back-end website applications and front-end website architecture;
• Design of user interactions on web pages;
• Design and develop APIs;
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection;
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement;
• Creation of servers and databases for functionality;
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
• Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring, Spring boot and Hibernate;
• Proficiency with front-end web technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS;
• Good knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Bootstrap;
• Good knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle & PL/SQL;
• Good knowledge of application and web servers such as WebLogic, Tomcat and Apache;
• Knowledge of Google Web Toolkit (GWT);
• Knowledge of CI/CD and familiarity with tools such as Bamboo;
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN;
• Familiarity with AWS and Amazon workspaces;
• Familiarity with Linux;
• Excellent command of the English language.
