The “GDC Office” is responsible for streamlining the work between the different GDC Tribes, monitoring compliancy of the division with the different policies, taking on transversal streams and transformation initiatives to support the division’s growth.
The “GDC Office” is acting as Facilitator, Controller, SPOC and catalyst for transversal Initiatives:
As GDC continues to grow, we recognize the need to strengthen our IT Operating Model and Agile Way of Working through our structure, processes, SDLC controls, and practices. The role of the GDC Transformation Leader will contribute to the evolution and maturity of the various GDC Tribes within the Division, as well as IT and Euroclear as a whole.

The “GDC Office” is responsible for streamlining the work between the different GDC Tribes, monitoring compliancy of the division with the different policies, taking on transversal streams and transformation initiatives to support the division’s growth.
The “GDC Office” is acting as Facilitator, Controller, SPOC and catalyst for transversal Initiatives:
- Facilitator: We facilitate & streamline processes and tools to gain in efficiency, to bring more added value and to increase the autonomy of the GDC Tribe Leads.
- Controller: We ensure alignment with corporate controls. We monitor, remind and report on compliancy.
- Single Point of Contact for transversal Initiatives: We contribute to/lead IT or corporate initiatives representing GDC.
- Catalyst of our internal transformation: We manage a consolidated roadmap on the various GDC transformation initiatives and ease the prioritisation process together with the GDC Management Team.
As GDC continues to grow, we recognize the need to strengthen our IT Operating Model and Agile Way of Working through our structure, processes, SDLC controls, and practices. The role of the GDC Transformation Leader will contribute to the evolution and maturity of the various GDC Tribes within the Division, as well as IT and Euroclear as a whole.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for Operating Model topics, including:
- Enhancing Agile Ceremonies (e.g., QP Report Out and Sequencing)
- Improving Agile Work Products (e.g., Business Features Evolution)
- Evolving Agile Roles (e.g., TSM Role Evolution)
- Participate to relevant Operating Model ceremonies within and outside the Division, such as the Operating Model Board led by TMS.
- Identify, share, and refine top-down or bottom-up improvement initiatives to be added to the GDC Office Backlog.
- Support the (Tribe) Scrum Master CoP Lead in organizing, facilitating and delivering improvement initiatives through their community.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Tribe Leads, Tribe Scrum Masters, …) to refine, co-create and roll-out improvement initiatives.
- Define and execute change management journeys to ensure improvement initiatives are well embedded within the GDC organization.
- Establish metrics to measure the success and adoption of improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and feedback to team members on topics such as Community of Practices, Operating Model Roadmap, Project/Epic Management, and general Change Management.
- Identify and manage risks related to improvement initiatives and develop strategies to address them.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven knowledge of Agile principles and practices, essential for enhancing ceremonies, work products, and roles.
- The ideal candidate should master both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, demonstrating proficiency in enhancing ceremonies, work products, phases, deliverables, and roles across both frameworks.
- Experience in managing continuous improvement and transformation, leading initiatives that refine and co-create strategies with stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills to organize, facilitate, and deliver improvement initiatives through community engagement.
- Analytical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, identifying risks and developing strategies to address them while seeking alternatives in solution development.
- Expertise in change management, defining and executing journeys to ensure initiatives are well embedded within the organization.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels, translating client expectations into actionable plans with clear and structured communication.
- Hands-on leadership, role modelling and leading from the front, providing support and feedback to team members.
- Collaborative mindset, passionate about working together, people development, and coaching on the job.
- Drive and energy, strong entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to build passion within the team.
- Simplify processes and tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Take ownership of issues, proactively managing and resolving challenges related to improvement initiatives.
- Balance change with associated risks, ensuring that the level of change is appropriate and manageable.
