Job Description

As we continue to grow in size, scale, and complexity, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Product Control to join our finance team in Tallinn.

The ideal candidate will be joining at an exciting time as we invest in strengthening our accounting operations and improving the quality and robustness of our financial reporting. You will be joining a growing global controller team that is building a more controlled and best in class environment. The role will be involved in the reporting and month end processes for our UK entities which includes the largest regulated entity as well as the largest cost centre and entrepreneur of the Checkout group as well as the branches and subsidiaries in countries such as Estonia, Mauritius, Portugal, Spain and Netherlands.

The role

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Assist in financial reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
  • Help maintain and improve financial controls, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
  • Work closely with the finance manager to develop financial reports and provide insight into business performance.
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, ensuring that all relevant documentation and reports are provided.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to the global projects for example implementation of new financial systems, tools, and processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining multi-currency financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

Successful candidates will bring experience of working in a high-volume, complex and dynamic environment, juggling multiple deliverables whilst maintaining accuracy and quality of output.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting or equivalent
  • 2+ years work experience in a finance, accounting, or audit role, preferably within an international or multinational company.
  • Basic understanding of IFRS.
  • Experience working with financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g.Workday, Netsuite or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets and complex financial reports.
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic financial analysis.
