Job Title: UX/UI Designer Intern (Unpaid, Remote)


Location: Remote


Duration: 16 weeks (with the potential for transitioning to a paid, official position based on performance)


Overview:

Join Swap Space, an innovative platform revolutionizing global property transactions, as a UX/UI Designer Intern. In this role, you'll be instrumental in elevating user experience and interface design, contributing to our mission of providing seamless interactions for our users. This remote internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in UX/UI design, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and build a portfolio of impactful design solutions. A stable internet connection and access to UX/UI design tools are necessary for successful completion of your tasks.


Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the product development team to craft intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for various platforms.

- Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate user flows and interaction patterns.

- Assist in conducting user research, usability testing, and feedback gathering to inform design decisions.

- Work on refining and enhancing existing features based on user feedback and usability testing results.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in UX/UI design to incorporate innovative solutions into our products.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.

- Ensure all design work aligns with Swap Space's branding guidelines and standards.


Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in UX/UI design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.

- Proficiency in UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

- Understanding of fundamental UX/UI design principles and methodologies, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts, rationale, and receive feedback effectively.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
