Job Location: Frankfurt or Bad Homberg, Germany

Job Description:

5-7 years’ experience, minimum CCNP or equivalent

• A network engineering technology background covering routing / switching/ firewalls / wireless LAN
• Mandatory Technology: Cisco LAN + WLAN. Other vendors such as juniper nice to have.
• Experience in Routing – BGP, OSPF, static & dynamic routing
• Experience on Switching - port channel, stacking
• Experience in Cisco catalyst wireless or wireless network
• Experience or knowledge about NA
• Palo Alto firewalls preferred, Fortinet and Cisco useful
• Experience in campus networking mandatory complex enterprise locations : industrial, medical or any secure network such as defence or banking.
• Segmented LAN and WLAN large 2 or 3 tier campus switching environment on-premises services infrastructure (DHCP, DNS) enterprise large campus physical layer – IDF, MDF, structured cabling, SPFs, inter and intra-building fibre, rack layouts and power distribution, path panels.
• Capture / understand / analyse / document requirements and options before going into solution mode able to think for themselves when encountering unknowns hands-on (CLI, GUI, etc.) work to be expected
